Chris owns and manages Clifton Search and heads our Governance business. Chris trained with PwC in external audit before moving into recruitment and has a track record of over fifteen years experience with both large multinational and medium sized recruitment businesses. The majority of this experience has been developed within the corporate governance market – principally audit, risk, compliance and fraud and Chris has an extensive cross-sector network in these functional areas.
As an experienced and specialist recruiter, Chris is passionate about the value that good recruitment practices can bring to a recruitment process and established Clifton Search in 2014 to offer both clients and candidates a specialist and knowledgeable recruitment partner in the governance market.
Outside of work, Chris’ main passion is his two Children, Milly and Ben. He also enjoys keeping fit by running and particularly mountain biking – though the later now tends to be more infrequent and more tame than in his younger days!
Giles manages the legal arm of Clifton Search. He trained as a solicitor before moving into professional recruitment with a major global brand. He has widespread experience within the Legal and Company Secretarial recruitment sector covering both the Private Practice and In House markets.
With nearly 20 years of specialist recruitment experience, Giles has a deep knowledge and understanding of the legal market. Giles is rigorous in ensuring that a thorough understanding of both candidate and client requirements is established at the outset to ensure a successful campaign for both parties.
Outside of work Giles’ main passion is exercise- which is not very often!
